Stella Goeschl

Stella Goeschl is a final year medical student at the Medical University of Vienna in Vienna, Austria. Throughout her medical school years, she has been involved in international student associations such as the European Medical Students’ Association (EMSA), serving in roles such as Health Policy Director and Medical Education Liaison Officer, advocating for students’ involvement in health policy and medical education on a European scale. Here, she worked with stakeholders such as the International Association for Health Professions Education (AMEE) and the Association for Medical Schools in Europe (AMSE). She also completed a three-month internship with the World Federation on Medical Education (WFME).
Stella has been involved in medical education scholarship locally and internationally, having presented at conferences such as the AMEE Conference, the AMSE Conference, the European Academy of Neurology (EAN)’s conference, and the Association for the Study of Medical Edication (ASME)’s Researching Medical Education conference. She is a student member of AMEE’s Technology-Enhanced Learning Committee. Stella holds research positions in clinical neurology and medical education at her university.
Her professional and research interests are digital health and AI in the medical education context, curriculum development, clinical neurosciences and neurology education, meaningful student involvement, simulation, and mentorship.
