Sruthi Saravanan

Sruthi is a final-year medical student at the University of Nottingham-Lincoln Medical School with a keen interest in the development, management, and scholarship of medical education. Whilst undertaking an intercalated BMedSci degree, she investigated medical students' perspectives on clinical reasoning using virtual patients, which sparked her research interests.
Sruthi is a student representative on the International Editorial Advisory Board of the journal, Medical Education, affiliated with the Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME) and Wiley, and co-chairs the International Association for Health Professions Education (AMEE) Student Engagement Special Interest Group. Additionally, she served as an abstract reviewer for ASME and AMEE, and a student ambassador for the AMEE 2023 and Ottawa 2024 conferences. Her current research explores technology-enhanced learning, student engagement, and assessments.
Through the BSDJ Editorship, she wishes to promote accessibility and inclusivity in academia for students.
