Dr Rob Tucker

Rob is an Academic Foundation Doctor (FY1) in North London with his medical degree from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. During his studies he completed a sabbatical year as Barts and The London Students' Association (BLSA) President, an intercalated degree in Medical Education, and rose in the British Medical Association (BMA) to lead a committee nationally representing 40,000+ individuals as the BMA Medical Students Committee chair for 2024-25.
Since his time at medical school, Rob has joined as the Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME) board as their Director of Communications. His particular areas of medical education interest are healthcare policy creating change, medical leadership, and student co-creation.
He's keen to bring all his policy expertise, social media expertise, and unique definition of medical education to the BSDJ as one of our design editors!
