Isabel Schulz


Isabel is a junior doctor currently undertaking Foundation training in Germany.

After obtaining a bilingual BSc Pharmacology (French, German) from two universities in Switzerland, she graduated from Bristol University with an MSc in Molecular Neuroscience.

Her contribution to a wide range of projects reflects her broad interest in many different fields of medical science. She has been involved in work at the Universities of Basel, Bristol, Southampton, Strasbourg, Goettingen and Stockholm and is very passionate about spreading enthusiasm for research and academic publishing amongst medical students.

Isabel has won a number of academic awards including a scholarship by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, a British Neuropathological Society summer research grant, the Hillier Pharmacology Prize and a distinction award at the National Undergraduate Neuroanatomy Competition.

She is fluent in three languages, loves travelling and hiking and is a keen runner.
