Nick is an Academic Specialised Foundation Programme Doctor at Oxford University and Thames Valley Trust. He has been involved with the BSDJ for several years, previously acting in Reflections Editor and Senior Editor roles. In 2022 he was a recipient of the internationally competitive BMJ Clegg Scholarship, where he further developed his editorial experience and industry insight.

Nick is a member of the Cardiff University School of Medicine Class of 2024, also graduating with a First-Class Honours Medical Education BSc in 2023 from Cardiff University. For this intercalation he was awarded the Intercalated BSc Medical Education Prize for outstanding achievement, in addition to receiving the status of Associate Fellow by Advance HE in recognition for his work in higher education.

Passionate about publishing opportunities for medical students, Nick is looking forward to making what can be perceived as a daunting process more accessible for medical students through the BSDJ.
