Chloe is a Senior Medical Editor working full time at The Lancet based in London. Her background is as a clinician, and she trained in medicine at University of Bristol and completed academic foundation training in Cardiff, which has a focus on research, mainly RCTs. She has also worked as a Specialty Doctor in cystic fibrosis and as a general practitioner trainee in the UK. Her role at The Lancet involves managing original research, taking manuscripts through to publication, writing editorials and opinion pieces, and commissioning and leading content such as reviews, Series, and Commissions. She also works on a new section of the journal termed Clinical Rounds, which encourages submissions from early-career clinicians.

Her main areas of focus at The Lancet are in cardiology, respiratory, critical care, and women’s health, and she has a keen interest in medical education.
