Melina is a third year medical student at Warwick Medical School, who also has Bsc with Honours in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol. She is planning to apply for the Specialised Foundation Programme with the hopes of following a career in surgery and academic medicine. Her main areas of interest are General Surgery and cancer diagnosis; however, she is keen to learn about many different aspects of medicine and science.

Outside of medicine, Melina enjoys running and spends a lot of her spare time at the athletics track.
