Emma is an academic foundation doctor working at University Hospital Southampton. She has a strong interest in research, oncology and medical education and has undertaken an MRes in Biomedical Science and Translational Medicine.

Emma has conducted research within many areas including outcomes of patients with covid-19 and cancer, breast and gynaecological cancers and education. She has published in JAMA Network and Clinical Oncology and has written a number of book chapters. Emma is past Chair of the British Oncology Network for Undergraduate Societies (BONUS), and sits on the Royal College of Radiologists Undergraduate Steering Committee.

 

Outside of medicine, Emma enjoys the outdoors and is a keen singer.
