Amy Still

Associate Editor

Amy Still is a fifth-year medical student at University College London (UCL). Alongside her medical training, she completed an intercalated BSc in Clinical Sciences and has been involved in academic work within clinical medicine in both university and NHS settings, with particular interests in women’s health and emergency medicine.

She has extensive experience in teaching across a range of settings, including small-group and large-group formats, and has contributed to the development and delivery of educational content for learners at different stages. This experience has informed her interest in clear, accessible communication and effective educational delivery.

Through her involvement with the British Student Doctor Journal, Amy hopes to develop practical experience in academic writing, editing, and peer review, and to gain insight into how scholarly work is selected, shaped, and published. In the longer term, she aims to pursue a clinically focused career while remaining engaged with teaching and academic activity alongside clinical practice.
