Taylan Gummus

Reflections Section Editor

Hi! I’m Taylan, a 4th year medical student from St. Georges University of London. If I’m not on the wards, trying to find a way to make myself somewhat useful, you will probably find me in an art gallery or at a musical theatre show somewhere. I love writing, with a particular interest in fusing the medical sciences with the art world (trust me, they are a lot more related than you’d think). As Medical students, we get such a broad experience of the medical field, which is why our perspectives matter. For this reason, I am excited to take on the role of Reflections Editor for the Journal. I hope to help students share their experiences and insights into issues that interest them. We all have an opinion, so why not use them to spark a discussion?
